The former APC Chieftain quoted John 16:13 “How be it when the spirit of truth shall come…” pointing out that the truth is that there is only one party in Akwa Ibom State.
He said that that it is better to be back home asserting that only a fool would see the truth and refuse to accept it.

Dr. Udofot re-stated the mantra of the people of the ward which is that anybody who is seeking any office must first declare support for Udom.
The former Permanent Secretary said that since Uyo Senatorial District cannot wait beyond 2023 for their turn of governorship, it is giving full support to Udom to make that possible.
The Chairman of Transformation Initiative for the Empowerment of Ibom People, Otuekong Anietie Ekong who led members of the newly inaugurated body said that since Transformation Initiative is working with PDP, the condition of admission of anybody into the group is that you must be a PDP member and ready to support Governor Udom Emmanuel.
Otuekong Ekong said when Black Wayas met him and indicated interest to be a member of Transformation Initiative, he asked which party he belonged to.
The Chairman said that it was for that reason that he called the group to come and witness his return to the party.
He advised the Ward Exco to accept the returnee wholly pointing out that his return would greatly help the cause of the ward.
