2019: “NSIMA EKERE VOWED TO REMOVE ME AND POLICE CP” – Uyo Police Fighter
While some Uyo people are groaning over the transfer of a top crime fighter, Julian Onita from the Akwa Ibom State command of the Nigerian Police Force to Kogi state, the affected cop has come out to say that the NDDC boss Mr Nsima Ekere was behind the surprised transfer.
In a post into a social media platform, Julian said his transfer came after Mr Nsima Ekere’s Personal Assistant had threatened to get him expelled from the state ahead of the 2019 elections.
“Uyoh Nathaniel the SA to NDDC MD vowed to remove myself and the Cp(Commissioner of Police) to pave way for his nefarious activities come 2019,” Mr Onita said.
Julian who was promoted last year to the OC Anti-Robbery was affected in the recent routine transfers in the force which was widely reported in the media yesterday.
The Cross River born Julian was popular in the state, especially amongst “Uyo boys” who said he was a top crime fighter who was always alert and swift to respond to their calls whenever they were in trouble.
