STAKEHOLDERS CONDEMNS BLACKMAIL ON TRANSPORT COMMISSIONER

 

….Congratulates Gov  Udom Emmanuel on Industrialization strides

 

Transport Stakeholders in Akwa Ibom State has condemned in totality the recent blackmail recently melted out on the Commissioner for Transport and Petroleum Resources, Rt. Hon Orman Esin.

The statement which reads “We also wish to use this medium to condemn in totality the recent blackmail on the Hon. Commissioner for Transport and Petroleum Resources Rt. Hon. Orman Esin by some group of persons in the name of transport stakeholders that the unions and the real stakeholders warn those perpetrators to desist from their selfish act.”

This was part of a communiqué signed by the State Chairman NURTW Sir Godwin Ekpo Ukwak, Comarde Emmanuel G. Udoh the State Chairman RTEAN, Elder UdoEkop Udousoro  the State Chairman NARTO and other transport stakeholders.

The Stakeholders raised in solidarity with Governor Udom Emmanuel over his industrialization strides. “We the under listed Unions and Associations in the transport sector in Akwa Ibom State, wish to congratulate His Excellency the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on his gigantic industrialization strides”

They also congratulated the Commissioner for standing by the union and transports association. The commissioner was also hailed for the successful inauguration of Compliance and monitoring team to sanitize the system.

“We also congratulate the Commissioner for transport and Petroleum Resources, Rt. Hon. Orman Esin  for standing by the Unions and Associations in the transport sub sector on his recent inauguration of the Compliance and monitoring team to sanitize the system.”

They pledge their total support to the government of Akwa Ibom State, the Ministry of Transport and Petroleum Resources and well meaning stakeholders in the sector and will work with them to ensure a smooth effective transport system in the State.

They also commended the Ministry of Transport and Petroleum Resources for the bold step to terminate the contract of Finger Print Construction Company which they said was working against the effectiveness and smooth running of transport business.

A communiqué was issued by the Transport stakeholders in Akwa Ibom State after a meeting on Monday 8th May 2017 at Office of the State Chairman RTEAN, N02 Okpon Street, Uyo.
