Prince Enobong Uwah in a chat with newsmen, commits his mission, tenure and vision to God Almighty and makes supplication for grace to succeed in delivering on Governor Udom Emmanuel’s blueprint for the UCCDA.
The Chairman, UCCDA sets his agenda, explaining that, Governor Udom Emmanuel has mandated him to revive, reposition and reform Uyo Capital City Development Authourity.
Prince Enobong Uwah said it is a new era in UCCDA, adding that Governor Udom Emmanuel demands zero tolerance for graft of any kind.
Prince Enobong Uwah announces new policies of electronic accounting system and online payment of fees, charges etc related to UCCDA operations and a maximum of two weeks ultimatum to process applications and approvals for developers.
He assured on Staff welfare and motivation, pledging to reward hardworking and diligent staff accordingly, to inspire confidence and performance.

Prince Enobong Uwah thanked God Almighty for the grace and His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel for the confidence reposed on him, and the magnanimity in appointing him, yet again to serve as the Chairman of UCCDA, after previously appointing him immediate past Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Renewal. He pledges to discharge his duties with absolute loyalty, focus, the fear of God, patriotism and sense of service to State and nation.

Describing him as a town planner and an illustrious Uyo son, who will prove to be a square peg in a square hole, he maintains that staff are excited Prince Enobong Uwah is coming with a wealth of experience and a rich pedigree and record of performance in previous offices he has held which includes stellar performance as erstwhile Commissioner for Environment and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Renewal.
Mr Inyang expresses confidence that a new order has taken off in the UCCDA and prays Gods grace to enable him succeed.
